I always feel like President's day is wasted on days off. Ok, not really, but it sure does make it hard to teach about a holiday when you don't actually see the children on said holiday. But, I digress. Here are some ideas I'm tossing around for President's Day:
1. I usually make a cute Abe Lincoln hat for the kids to wear home. They always find it interesting. I think this year, I will have them glue an Abe Lincoln personal anchor chart or bubble map to the back. Get a copy:

hmmmm, I will think on this a bit more.
